DAYA Foundation is a non-profit yoga studio, yoga outreach, and yoga therapy center that provides a full range of offerings for yoga students, yoga teachers, and health professionals. We Deliver Accessible Yoga Alternatives: public studio and agency or institution-based classes, yoga therapy for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction; adaptive and medically-sensitive yoga programs; and trauma-informed brain-sensitive outreach programs for schools, hospitals, and the department of corrections. DAYA is looking for a part time Year End Fundraising Campaign Manager to join our administrative team. Our Year End Fundraising campaigns have included the following: Giving Tuesday campaign in tandem with Facebook, specifically the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation matching contribution campaign on Giving Tuesday. Rousing attention and interest in advance. Preparing and educating community for donation windows on Giving Tuesday. Seeking Matching Funds to excite donors.
Annual letter: Bringing Light Into Darkness, highlighting 3 Projects: (databases segregated). Prison Yoga Teacher Training Program. Medical Scholarships Program. International Children’s Program. Our Campaign Manager from 2017 is available for consultation about this aspect of our End-of-Year Campaigns. Timeline includes sending tax-donation letters in January 2019.
FlipCause Prison Mala Campaign Using our website platform for crowdfunding, similar to individuals raising funds for a Walk-a-thon. Engaging key leaders in the yoga and social justice fields to help announce, promote, and energize yoga audiences to donate. Setting up promotional schedule and managing digital content in tandem with DAYA’s Social Media Coordinator. Fundraising Campaign Manager will have direct support from DAYA Founder and a DAYA Foundation board member. Position: November 1 – January 31, 2019 5-6 hours weekly. Flexible schedule. Onsite and offsite.
