1. Imap Setting For Yahoo Mail

Step 1) Configure Yahoo Prior to setting up your Yahoo account(s) in Postbox, go to option of your Yahoo Account. If you have two-step verification turned ON You must generate an app password.

Click on Generate or Manage App Passwords. Under the Select Your App pulldown, select Other App. Enter Postbox in the text field. Click the Generate button.

Copy the password, you'll need this password later when you set the account up in Postbox. If you have two-step verification turned OFF You must enable the Allow apps that use less secure sign in option. Step 2) Configure Postbox. In Postbox, go the Privacy panel. (Mac) Preferences Privacy (Windows) Options  Privacy. Click on Saved Passwords, and make sure that a password for this account does not currently exist. If it does, delete it.

Go to File New Mail Account. Enter your full name in the Your Name field. Enter your Yahoo! Email address ( username@yahoo.com) in the Email Address field. Enter a description in the Description field (can be anything). Enter your Yahoo account password in the Password field.

Click Continue and Postbox will pull in your settings. NOTE: If your address is joeblow@ yahoo.com, only enter joeblow. If your address is joeblow@ ymail.com, enter joeblow@ymail.com.
